Logic Inconsistencies?

I've a preset routine that I want my SackBot to carry out in my level. When I'm testing it in create mode, sometimes it works just as I want it to and other times it does things that I cannot understand, even though all the conditions surrounding it are exactly the same every time. Are there some instances in the game where things just happen some times for no reason and it's impossible to sort out?2011-01-30 22:39:00

There's got to be a bug in your logic because it's literally impossible for a computer to have inconsistencies (theoretically).

Some pics of your logic and a bit more in depth summary of what's happening would help.

Yeah, even though everything looks sound, you may be running into some bugs due to the delay in wires and gates, etc, leading to non-instantaneous switches, possibly conflicting with some parts of your logic.

Also, are you using resets on counters/timers, etc. I've experienced an error that would occur only when I press some button right as a timer resets. It stops the timer from restarting, preventing me from doing things.

You'd need to explain what is being done and provide a picture for people to help. Also, having all your logic open while you use it could help you determine what part is messing up (follow the lighted wires. If you see something break from the pattern, then you can isolate what is causing it to occur)

I'm new to logic myself, and I've spent 2 days now fixing a system that took me a day to make. If you're stumped, create it again, but this time label and organize the logic so that it may be easier to find out where the problem is coming from.

Yeh turns out it wasn't the logic, there was a tag that was messing with it all. Problem was, I thought I'd tested what the problem turned out to be, but I must have tested it wrong. Thanks anyway2011-01-30 23:53:00
