This doesn't mean anything emo. And I don't mean your accomplishments, goals etc. What is something about humanity, life in general, the current age in time, that makes you just so unbelievably happy and proud you were born early enough//late enough to be in this generation. I'll give an example. I watched Laputa, Castle in the Sky last night. Hayao Miyazaki is my all time favorite director and story writer. Whenever I watch his movies I end up in a state of just pure inebriation, and I am so utterly grateful that I was fortunate enough to be born in an era where his movies were part of the generation before mine, and mine as well. It literally does make my heart sit at ease, and completely relaxes me just to sit and watch his movies. What about you guys?

Oh my god! I love that movie! That was actually the first thing that introduced me to Anime. ( I was like 7 at the time) Well, I'm happy whenever I think that I can tell my grandchildren I was alive when we had an African American as our president. A very first for the US!

i am happy when i press up 3 times on the D-pad. however, for me happiness is an eternal quest. i have a hard life and i focus only on the happiness of others in hope that by making others happy, i will be happy also. it has not worked yet but i shall try until i am no more.

Ya, my life has been pretty difficult as well. Past couple years, luckily, picked up for me. Met some good friends, had a couple really good relationships. Just keep at it.

Off-topic, sorta. I just finished watching a movie that sort of makes you feel the same way, you start to wonder things and start saying "****, I have a good life, why complain?" The movie was called, My Family (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113896/) (a.k.a Mi Familia - The Spanish translation.) It's a great movie, but a lot of it is in Spanish, makes you feel sad/good at the end. Like I said, I was off-topic, lulz.
