"Tutorial" option in main menu

Can someone post an easy to follow tutorial on how to have a tutorial movie pop up when selected in a main menu?

I have a versus level with a main menu and I want there to be an option in the menu that gives an instructional video of how to play. I got all the gameplay down perfect, but it's going to need the help of this additional option for it to be easy to understand.

Note that you won't really be able to make a tutorial movie on a screen like in the official tutorial stages, but you CAN make a little tutorial that shows up using a movie camera.

Here's a quick concept of what I would do. Basically make one large complicated object that includes movie cameras and whatever else. Trigger it when you choose "tutorial":

1) Go into a blank stage.
2) Make whatever objects/sackbots you want to have in your tutorial.
3) If using sackbots, record any actions you want them to use and save the corresponding "behavior chips" onto their circuit board.
4) Pause.
5) Hook a battery up to a sequencer. Use the sequencer to trigger the movie cameras, "behavior" chips, any emitters, and any object movement. (Look at the other tutorials for specific help on any of these topics.)
6) Now, the important part: While still paused, capture EVERYTHING as one object and save it. (Let's call this BIG TUTORIAL OBJECT).
7) Back in your ACTUAL level, make an emitter that emits your BIG TUTORIAL OBJECT.
8) Set up your menu so that the emitter is triggered whenever someone selects tutorial.
9) Adjust the emitter "lifetime" to last as long as your tutorial lasts (30 seconds for example).
10) Now, when you choose "tutorial", your object is emitted, the battery triggers the sequencer, your tutorial plays out... and it all disappears once the "lifetime" has run out, which should bring you back to the main menu.

Or, instead of all that hooha, simply make a button on your main menu trigger a movie camera somewhere else in the level. Then it'll just play out the movie and return to the menu when done.2011-01-30 23:22:00

Well all that hooplah is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much Sickivionkey. Yofig, I've been doing what you suggested, that's the obvious way to do it, the issue i was having was with spawning those silly sackbots and vehicles.

Get this! HUGE note for all players in Little Big Planet.

YOU CAN NOT EMIT AN OBJECT WITH A SACKBOT INSIDE A CONTROLLINATOR!

I tried every comibation to figure out why my sackbot wasn't spawning, it just won't work! In order to make it work, you need TWO emitters. One will spawn the sackbot, the other will spawn the vehicle he will drive in. As long as they spawn at the same time, your sackbot's recording will still behave just as you wanted him to even though he didn't start in the vehicle automatically.

THAT was why I was having much difficulty. Now that I figured out that huge game bug, I'll have no problem completing my tutorial.

The next huge question I have... HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU MAKE SUBTITLES! and no not speech bubbles, SUBTITLES, just like all the story levels and other community levels I've seen. I see an option grayed out under the magic mouth tweak menu, but it doesn't flippin work!
