You just need to circle the arena and leave shields and health for when it is needed.2011-01-30 20:01:00

With 4 Players in the level, I personally felt the level seemed pretty easy to get the score for the last prize bubbles (for the cool umbrella costume). Just try to get a group together and shoot 'em up!2011-01-30 20:42:00

Agressive tactics help a lot.
Instead of trying to flee and shoot, charge and shoot. You will cut a hole through weaker enemies.

i manage to get all the prizes on my 3rd try by myself, just keep circling around shooting at anything thats too close and save the power ups for when you need them most.2011-01-30 20:51:00

LIne the enemies up so there's always a bunch of them in your line of fire so when you unleash a flurry of shots you'll hit them all. I also used this tactic to do that marshmellow minigame.2011-01-30 20:55:00

Spending a few years training on Super Stardust HD helps.2011-01-30 21:33:00

Ugh this mini-game is tough. I'm a pro at LBP/LBP2 and I SUCK at this game. I guess I just don't get the classic shooter tactics.2011-01-30 21:48:00

When the enemies onscreen seem to be overwhelming, shoot straight through a group of them to get to the outer edge. Then circle strafe for about a 1/4 of the circle while firing and you'll clear a bunch of them out. Then go straight to the center cutting a path on the way there to get the power ups. I pretty much just kept doing this and managed to stay alive well after getting the 6000 needed for the prizes. Strangely, when the peg shaped enemies show up (they take several hits to kill), it actually seems like it gets easier. Those triangles that shoot are the most annoying by far.2011-01-31 03:28:00

I think that all it really takes is practise, at first I only managed to get like 1000, but after some practise I managed to break 15000, practise gets you farthest in life no matter what it is you're doing.2011-01-31 04:09:00

I've gotten the score for the last prize box thingy three or four times (because I was helping my friends out with it), so if you need help, you can just add me on PSN and we can give it a go. It'll have to be tomorrow, tho.2011-01-31 04:17:00

Yeah, thanks for that zim!
I'd imagine the game is much eaiser with 4 players.

I'm an old arcade KING. I was pretty-good at "Robotron" and that cost me a .25 a play... there is something wrong with this game... I literally do worse everytime! Something I'm just not getting. Infact, I haven't liked an awful lot of the mini-games-- and am really dissappointed I have to play them over and over again thanks to prizes being tied to some fairly aggressive scores. 6000 pts for one player is excessive! Although I very much enjoy Tower of whoop! (a level) I think 90,000 for the average player is pushing it!

Again I wouldn't care-- but a below average player can also be an above average creator-- and not having access to all the tools (over a mini-game) kinda stinks!

It's not that tough once you got a strategy and this thing seems to work in waves. It gets tougher but then it resets to really easy again for a while, this happens before the max score required. At least that's how I remember it. Don't use health or shields unless you need it but always grab the power up to fire double as that thing destroys. Also I done it fine single player but found it tougher 4 player myself, it just gets a bit too hectic to spot bullets which blend with the bg quite a lot. 2 player is pretty decent though.2011-01-31 17:51:00

Yeah, that's something that kind of annoys me about this game. It's one thing to have to become an expert platform player to get all the prizes; in LBP2 you have to become an expert at all kinds of games to fill out your goodies bag. And what's worse, with costumes being usable in create, you have to ace everything, too!

Well, on our first try me & my mates managed to rank #66 on the scoreboard.

Can't be that hard

Heres a rather snappy tip, try to get over 600 points less than the higest avilible prizes. when you die turn on a second controller, have one of them go over past the second "Vending macine" then have both sackboys(or Girls) jump into them at the same time you will get a x2 multiplyer for 6 prize bubbles and you will get 600 points for it!

I was in it with three others(online) we were very close (about 600 points less) when some one was getting the prizes but i steped in and got the other three prizes and we got the last three prizes

I hear ya! I couldn't even come close to getting all the bubbles. So I got help from a couple of my buddies and the three of us got it after a few tries. The key for us was to split up the team. I took the bottom half, another took the top left, and the other took the top right. Granted we helped each other out when needed, but we tried to stick to our areas.

Now that's just sneaky!

I found one easy trick for this level - save the STAR powerups (that give you doubleshot) for when the enemies with guns start appearing. Kill them first before it wears off, and you'll have a much easier time.2011-02-01 16:26:00
