Sackbot act and record question?

I have a sackbot set to perform a recorded action, but everytime I unpause the game the sackbot does the action. So my problem is I can't do anything with the game on unpause, because the sackbot will do the action ,and then i have to undo, and then I'm back to where I started.

Is there a way I can time when the recording will start. Like a switch or something. I tried hooking a player sensor to the sackbot, but that didn't work. I put it to where when I activated the player sensor, the recording would start. It started before I activated the sensor.

Add a sackbot behavior switch to the sackbot's circuitboard. Set it to idle. Now connect a deactivated switch to the original behavior switch. Now he'll only act when that switch is activated.2011-01-30 18:41:00

Ok, what's a deactivated switch? I already have a behavior switch added on set to follow, because that's what I want him to do after the recorded action. Will that eorkthe same as idle.2011-01-30 19:17:00

Set a behaviour chip to ake him follow, then place a player senor to activate the animation, and a timer that activates once the animation is over to activate the follow-bahaviour chip.

has anyone made a tutorial for this? the in-game tutorials tell us precious little on the subject. MM didn't tell us how to time the acting at all.2011-01-31 01:05:00
