Metal Gear versus level

I want to make a metal gear style versus level with different types of creatinator. I would go with a middle east style from the first chapter of MGS4. It will be big so that you kinda have to walk around to find people but not to big were you won't find anyone. there would be no zero gravity seeing how that doesn't fit into the whole metal gear theme.

What I want to know is how many of you find this idea appealing? Is zero gravity important in a versus mode? any ideas for weapon types? Do you like pie? lol jk but I want to know your guys thoughts on it seeing how it would be you guys that would play it.

If it could be any different than the other levels out there, I would add stealthy kills and moves with the press of r1 or something cool like that. I would use a paintinator instead of the creatinator, as within the first 2 weeks i've haas the game, people pass off a few bounce pads, and zero gravity as a Versus level. If you were to do anything, I would also add a weapon hide/equip mechanism as a perk to really make your level shine. Well, that's what I would do....2011-01-31 02:26:00

I see what you're saying but I like to use the creatinator for weapons and such. My first level took that formula Bounce pads + low gravity = fun, But I add detailed level design 4 types of weapons and I even calibrated each bounce pad to each section of the map I also made the map kinda big so that people can't spam camp and such. But for the metal gear one I'm taking out the zero gravity and using only like 4 bounce pads just to get to high places quicker so the battle remains at a fast pace. Seeing how no one posted in the thread quick enough I just went and already gone into level design and making the weapons to behold all I have to do now is add the real details to make the level stand out. But your idea is something I will take into consideration in a later versus mode when my friends and I get done with our other projects.
