What happend to the Honey level!?

Archive: 11 posts

I remember seeing a youtube video before of a Bee honey level. It's like the Avalon but with a honey theme to it.

I tried googling youtube but I can't find it >.<

Did they remove it?! Or was it an community level??

I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to, but when I see the word Honey when relating to LBP, I think of Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves (the Playstation Move exclusive levels, available via download for 5$ I believe).

There's a glassy yellow looking material in those levels that looks very similar to honey. Here's an example (http://www.gamingsurvival.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1556&d=1290116591) of what I'm speaking of and let me know if this is what you're thinking of.

No no, you acturally control a Bee and shoot honey, just like in Avalon but it's with a Honey Theme, with honey combs and all that jazz.

It looked really cool... THe youtube video aslo had one of the MM reps talking about the level and the controlonator.... as i remember..... darn, what was the name of that video.....

I think I remember the level you're talking about now. That level possibly didn't make the cut/got remade. Mm actually went and remade a good amount of the story levels because the sequencer was introduced later into development. This is speculated to be one of the reasons for the delay. But yeah, it's not around anymore obviously, because it got cut/remade to fit the story better.2011-01-30 04:54:00

Btw, one more question, can you play LBP1 story levels in the new LBP2 engine??

Yeah, I would have prefered that version to the "retro" one in story mode.

I made a similar level gameplay wise (to the one you're talking about) in the beta, where you rode/drove fat bumblebees through a hive.

I might remake it sometime.

As midnight heist said, no you can't, which is honestly surprising that they don't offer the option to people who have LBP1. I remember back when the lighting system was being talked about by a molecule, he mentioned that the LBP1 level "The Darkness" looked completely different in LBP2 (in a good way) and I never forgot that because I couldn't wait to see it. I kind of wonder if they have the feature of importing LBP1 story levels to LBP2 planned for DLC. Obviously, you'll have to own LBP to import, so what's the harm? :3

Well, seeing the poor state in wich many LBP levels are in LBP2, maybe there was too much problems with the story mode levels and then they decided it was not important to fix that. (and I would agree with this decision).
I mean, if you guys really want to play LBP story mode well, you do own LBP so it's pretty easy to do so.

There are a lot of levels that didn't make it, it seems. Remember these:
