LBPC Chatroom

I looked for it in the suggestions, but couldn't find it.

I think an LBPC open chatroom would be nice. If someone needs help or has a quick question, people in the chatroom can help without having to make a forum post and wait for a reply. LBPC members could play together more, knowing instantly who is on and available.

I think this will boost the social aspect of the forum.


If we can't expect this to ever happen, then I'd like to request someone create a PSN chatroom for LBPC members. I haven't been around long, so I don't think I'm in any position to start one up. It just doesn't feel right.		2011-01-30 03:17:00

This has been suggested longer then I've been registered... i.e. the entire history of this forum. Anyway, CC has repeatedly said no to an official one cause it would be impossible to mod correctly and it would distract people from actually posting and stuff.

As for a PSN one, well, I think a bunch have been made... I also have tried making a few chatrooms in downloadable programs like Skype and msn but people aren't too interested...

... A thought. Why don't we try ArrowChat (http://www.arrowchat.com/) again? It's pretty much a facebook thing... it caused server problems last time, but yeah, those might have been fixed, I unno :/		2011-01-30 03:30:00

there are chatbots that will kick spammers, people who advertise, people who use profanity, etc etc

oh well. I guess it's just wishful thinking for me. It would've been nice to group up with more people more frequently who actually use mics		2011-01-30 05:12:00

On my old forum which i got banned on ( I dont know but it makes me mad because i donated to that site aboout 100 dollars) There was a chat and it was a nintendo site so i could easily find people to play with. I think it would be great for this too but oh well.2011-01-30 06:40:00

I think it would be very effective if someone started up a LBPC chatroom on the playstation network rather than the multiple ones like RockSauron said.

But the PSN chats only hold 16 people at once, which is clearly not enough for LBPC. Why not start a chatroom on IRC?2011-01-30 09:33:00

I've started a few LBPC chatrooms on PSN, and so have some of my friends on PSN. They are usually alive for 2 days then they die. 		2011-01-30 13:50:00
