New: 10 is up. There's 2 ways to beat it.. and which path you take will change the story, and affect which verion of level 10 you can get into. (the good ending is need to get into the 2nd contest, too!) So don't be too shy against the optional 2nd boss in #9! He is a bad, bad... thing. Current level count: updated Dec5 9 LH story levels, (working on #10) The expired contest 1 level, (left up just for fun, the first contest of over) Boss Rush mode, currently featuring 6 bosses. Minor spoiler: her bro doesn't do so well. Then she falls in love all over again, except this new lady is straight: http://www.ozero.ca/gallery/t-oz-sketchCol.jpg (this art's from the art section of my site, www.ozero.ca (http://www.ozero.ca), by the way) So when I heard about LBP, and because I'm my own biggest fanboy, I thought "DUDE! I can tell the lifehack story in LBP!" so, getting use to LBP construction in beta, and getting a meaty start on the first level, I was ready to hit the ground running when the release came (eventually) http://www.ozero.ca/lhlbp.html has fairly up to date info. The levels very loosely follow the story of the book, having to remove 99.99% of the talk, and introduce several bosses and hazards that were not in the book.... let's face it, books don't make good video games, and visa versa, despite what some marketing folks might want you to believe. As well, there's a "Boss rush" level, which just for fun, sets you against each boss. You don't need to beat them to continue. Right now there's only 3 bosses in it, (one of the Lifehack levels didn't have a proper boss), and as the LH story levels call for more bosses, those bosses will be added to boss rush. The old contest level is still up despite the contest being over, it's still fun to take a run through. It has a lot of secrets if you ignore your time. *credit to maraz_matari for creating his 'talking tool', which I make use of in LH main levels from 4 on, and boss rush. And yes, many of you might remember that I *DID* say there was going to be another contest at the end of the lifehack levels. The prize pack will be pretty similar, except that the book will be a HARDCOVER version, and the hat will be replaced with a T-shirt. What form will this other contest take? I haven?t decided 100%, but it will likely have some things in common with the BOSS RUSH level I put up yesterday- but it won?t be quite as simple as killing bosses fast- after all, the first contest gave players many different options in finding the most efficient way to get a high score. (the winning techniques were things I hadn?t even thought of?!) But also know- the first thing you?re going to have to do (before the timer starts) in the next contest level, is to place a couple stickers found in the other lifehack levels?.! That?s my mean-*** way of getting people to play em! They won?t be insanely hard to find stickers, don't worry.

the main hero in lifehack (the book and the levels, of course) is a lesbian, yeah. For the record, lesbians fall under the category '***' as well. And if you don't like *** guys.. well, you also have to consider what *** girls think of guys who just ike to see 2 girls together. The street runs both ways man, tolerance FTW.

cool cool.. it's a little slower paced in spots than many LBP levels, but those into the story-driven stuff seem to like it. It's kind aneat to get comments form people reading the book, and comparing it to the levels.. Of course the levels don't really flesh out the book terribly well, (a game is a game, a book is a book) but they recognize landmarks and events... I got a LBP photo form a player in a level, making an 'in-joke' that related to the book... Ok, i'm blithering now...

It's alright for two women to be together, but two men isn't alright? Where is the logic there?

reason for that is that if two women like each other its not going to effect me unless my girlfriend is lesbien, but it a thought of a man finding me attaive is what bothers me, is this acceptable on a kids games, i not saying it wrong or anything, like who you fanzy, but i would not find this acceptable for little kids, you dont see *** program on before 9, so would this get took down, i dont care if it doesnt but are you allowed to but this level up, as you are not allowed to use a lot of voilant or porn

re: edits: noted. It'd be much easier if I did most of my forum-using on the PC tho.. I'm usually on the ps3, and the browser, as we all know.. is lacking. re: appropriate levels- They don't do anything explicit in any way in the levels. If you think the existance of any ***-related content is offensive, well.. er, sorry? I don't think you have to worry much about getting hit on by a guy, it's not liek *** guys roam around looking to score.. (those that do, generally do so in a 'safe environemnt&apos The fact is, the average *** guy is quite aware that 90% of guys are straight, so they're likely to be very cautious before making any kind of approach. Heck, when making as pass can get you beaten to death, I'd be cautious too. I really gotta admire the courage of any *** person, whether they're 'out' or not. Acceptance might be gorwing, but there's still a large VOCAL and sometimes violent portion of society who cling to the notion that *** people are out to get them and destroy thier way of life. (etc) I'm making a shameless bump, since this 'edit when there's an update' method doesn't seem to bump anything... so.. new info's on the top post! 9 levels are now up, one to go before lifehack is done! with the launch of level 10 (2 versions, depending on how yuo did in #9) is now out and the lifehack series is complete. I might retouch #1, as it was rough in spots, (being one f my first levels) but overall it's done. I still have to do the 2nd contest tho... then onto sillier things, as implied by the ending of level 8. I had such trouble getting all my stuff saved, due to the limitations of the profile size.. it's nuts. I had to kill all my photos and most of my machines.
