Importing Region Diffrent LBP Profiles

| I have an Japanese version of LBP1 and an European version of LBP2... I can't import my LBP1 save files!?!?!?!?!? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are Profiles region specified too!? Just like the DLCs!?!?!? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the game (LBP1) and I've collected everything!!!!! Is there anyway I can import my things into LBP2???? Or do I have to buy a European version of LBP1 and play Alllll over again.....??? | Unfortunately, it's appears that all LBP related data (saves, profiles, DLC) is region locked, you can't even use US DLC on EU games.
