I have been working on my newest level, age of warcraft, an age of war style game featuring world of warcraft characters and locations, for a majority of the last 24 hours, and just wanted to post this to give the lbpc community a little insight. Im still working through some crazy logic, but i have set up an enemy ai, and start the player off as the horde. I will add in an option to play as the horde or the alliance before release, but i am still trying to find a way to work in multiplayer. Horde units so far: Tauren archer (i know taurens use guns) Troll axemen Orc swordsman Scourge mage Horde units i will add: Blood elf dragonhawk tamer Goblin demolitionist Kodo rampage (special ability) Death knight (racially ambiguous) Alliance units so far: Human swordsman Gnome mage Dwarf axemen Night elf archer Alliance units i will add: Dranei elephant tamer Wereworteg(?) warrior Worteg rampage (special ability) Death knight (racially ambigous) Both sides of the battle have a castle with a drawbridge and a moat (hazardous gas). The castle can take a total of 100 hit points, and every unit can take 20 hit points. Some units hit faster than others. So far, the scenery is a change between the barrens for the horde, and the night elf area above the barrens for the alliance (im sorry, my account got hacked twice, and i havent played wow in forever). Im thinking about putting in siege vehicles, like catapults, as well as putting in "turrets", or just permanent archers that hang out on the half drawn draw bridge. Im also thinking about adding in upgrades for units, like buying mounts to increase the speed, or upgrading weapons for more damage. Tl;dr: just tell me what you guys like that i posted, and what you would like to see in an age of war style game. Thanks!
