I think I found a small issue regarding lbp.me in particular, on lbp.me you have the ability to view pictures and save them. This opens the possibility of image stealing, so these pictures can be put anywhere else on the Internet without the authors knowledge. Having a watermark on the images, and a possible time stamp will at least gave the author some credit if used else where. Or have the option to allow or not allow these pictures to be downloaded.

Well, watermarks can easily be taken out of an image. Give a semi-competent person just 30 seconds of photoshop and they can erase a watermark. Or if you want to steal something inside the image, you can do it amazingly well and without issues, by cutting it out. So what I'm trying to say, is that watermarking is useless, unless you stamp stuff everywhere, which would be horrible for lbp.me's quality. As for no download ability, with the tools available on the internet and add-ons that come with browsers, any picture anywhere can be saved. Just curious, did some stealing thing happen that made you make this thread?

Just curious, did some stealing thing happen that made you make this thread? No just a thought came to mind, other sites have the ability to do so such as deviantart, a lot of people complain about image stealing. Good watermarking is difficult to remove, and minimally degrades photo quality.

Wait, since when can't you download images from deviant? I can... or is that not what you mean? And I don't know, I just think different I guess. Never seen a good watermark that couldn't be removed or even mattered.

If it *was* seriously important, you *could* make a watermark and time stamp that would be neigh impossible to remove. (via incorporating it into the actual picture's pixel map and the like) But really.... for this? No.
