*edit* I've made some huge changes on this level but its almost impossible to get anyone to play it? I saw someones level go to 1000 plays in 19 hours, am i doing something wrong? I cant get anymore feedback i want to improve it to its fullmost but not getting the feedback to do it! Any help with this would be appreciated! Hi! just thought i'd post about a project i've been working on for the past week, i just released the first version of my pinball machine for lbp2. http://lbp.me/v/w6wc9s please have a go and give me some feedback! http://lbp.me/v/w6wc9s | 2011-01-29 20:25:00 Author: FriedGoat Posts: 102 |
I thought that this was a really well presented pinball level. The machine itself is suave and looks very nice. However, I could play this level for ages if it was had more fluid game play! Many a time i had to restart because i accidentally pressed X to launch a new ball before it came out, and this caused it to get lodged inside the launcher. I also found that there were many little ledges which the ball got caught on sometimes. Yet despite these issues, it is a very promising level, and i think it could be very popular if all the glitches are smoothed out A suggestion: It would be nice if the whole game played a bit faster, as i found myself waiting for the ball to roll down into the hole, or off a ledge, and as I'm sure you know, pinball is a very fast paced game. All in all a valiant accomplishment, i shall definitely be checking back in the future! If you have the time, check out my first level 'Pinket Ball', which is a combination of pinball and basketball, link is in my sig! | 2011-01-29 23:06:00 Author: Steve Posts: 134 |

Hey, just got done with your level! I really liked the presentation and feel of the game itself. The neon lights and music go hand- in -hand. There are a few places where the ball was caught/ lodged at times but it eventually freed itself. Another place where the ball was stuck for a minute or two is the two 'bouncy' things above the left and right paddle. The ball was passed back and forth between these two bouncy pads for awhile, giving me 10 pts. each time it hit. Overall, you're definitely on the right track. Smooth it out some more and you're good!! Could you please take the time to play my own level? Information is in the Signature, thanks!!! Just played it was alot of fun, my last ball disapeared before i launched it :S At times the ball got slow and took a while to fall out of places, apart from that it was alot of fun | 2011-01-30 00:59:00 Author: arsenalfan_1995 Posts: 229 |
Nice job! You made a pretty good pinball level there! There are only a couple of things I noticed: (This happened three times) When I held X to launch the ball, it wouldn't make the turn at the top. It would just fall down. Also, I noticed some dark matter around the area. It would be nice to see some more effort put into scenery. Other than that, I thought it was terrific! I love the "GO!!!" voice as I shot the ball out, and I thought the controls were nice and simple. Great job! I look forward to seeing this updated. If you could, check out my level in my sig if you've got time. Thanks. | 2011-01-30 02:17:00 Author: ShamgarBlade Posts: 1010 |

Thanks, I will see what I can do on those fronts. I appreciate the feedback! glad you played through, someone reviewed me saying it was small (obviously hadnt gone into the second area) | 2011-02-03 01:58:00 Author: FriedGoat Posts: 102 |
I guess you got your plays after all. Congratulations! This is a very professional-looking and fully functional pinball level. I can't really think of anything specific you need to do to improve it. You have the visuals, the gaming and the audio all going very well for you. PLAYING THE WHO IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA. If the general mechanics are replicable, I would like to see more pinball levels by you, I think. This one was nice, but, it doesn't have a very strong visual theme to it. What I remember most fondly about arcades were the ridiculous pinball machine themes. Leprachauns in Hell, anyone? | 2011-03-09 05:45:00 Author: Fobstar49 Posts: 75 |
Nice level, i liked the fact that you added your voice into the game. However there was a couple of times where the pinball went straight through the upper left flipper | 2011-03-17 16:33:00 Author: matt54123 Posts: 38 |
