Sensors and Lights

Archive: 4 posts

Hello all. I have a yet another problem. I have a Sackbot with a tag sensor on his chip. What happens is that when he reaches a certain point, the tag sensor goes off and a counter goes up by one. I have a light for each Sackbot so that whenever you have a Sackbot reach that point, the light goes from red to green.

How would I go about having it so everytime a Sackbot goes through the tag senor, one of those lights changes from off to on?

I doubt I could use a tag sensor alone as if a bunch of them goes through then the sensor will probably only read one. Thanks for anyone who helps.

I really need to read up on logic as I'm sure this is simple stuff to most people.

I'm not sure I got it right, but couldn't you could use custom tags or multiple tag sensor with increasing values under "number of tags required"?2011-01-30 13:18:00

Don't quite understand what you want to do. What is the tag sensor on the sackbot's brain detecting? Surely you want a tag sensor outside the sackbot, and place a tag in its brain.

If you have a series of lights you want to turn on one by one as sackbots approach, use a rack of tag sensors with an increasing number of "Number of tags required" tweaks. Make sure these tag sensors are on the same microchip so that their detection areas are all in the same place.
