Well, the only recommendation I could give this level is a better title. Everything else, tip top! It was a pretty awesome concept, we'd know someday that the cows would fight back! Just a shame that it's them that's beating us up overall, a good quick minigame. I reckon a boss of some sort would be cool: a mega-cow, beefed up on genetically modified potatoes, or something like that great job!2011-01-31 09:15:00

XD this level was fun and funny, very creative, this is the first time Ive ever seen Cows be tired of the bull... of alien and actually fight back! The cutscene in the beggining was funny, could have been a little longer maybe like showing how the aliens arrive at the farm and are suprised by the cows wearing bandanas and black face paint or something XD.

The gameplay was awesome, control were nice and easy, everything was great, I do recomend making the cows and the sheeps a little less harder >__< cause at some point I thought I saw Terminator fighting back at me >_<. But i did manage to get some points, but just saying, maybe a little longer, less harder, maybe more enemies, a single player mini story or something and some more details and this level would get alot of attention, cause this idea is very unique, if you make this happen perfectly alot of people will enjoy this and im sure people agree.


Other than all that, great fun and funny level, very creative.
gave a good rating and a heart.

Hey!

So I had the opportunity to play this level yesterday and I can honestly say that was pretty cool. The concept is very unique and funny. At first, I had no idea what to expect so it was pretty interesting to see animals shooting back LOL. It seems you edited the game itself a few times before I played it. The controls felt nice, and the gameplay was very fun. I'm going to come back and play it again with a buddy to see how that goes! Very nice!!!!

OK, after reading the intro, I noticed some of the time was gone, I wouldn't start it until the player moves or something. I found the controls a bit hard to get to grips with, but it was fun. I unfortunatly died, so restarting. The magic mouth on the ship is still visible, ruins it a bit. It's very frantic, I must say!

Overall, a very frantic and fun shooter. Just a few graphical tweaks and maybe a bit of work on the controls, and it'll be grand.

The time from the cutscene is taken into account but i will fix it if you think it would be a good idea! I hadn't realised the magic mouth was visible so i will definately fix that. Do you think that the difficulty was right?

Hey, played your level.

Enjoyed it. It took me a while to understand the controls.
I also messed up by pressing triangle which ejected me i think and put me into player 2 seat.
Perhaps you could get rid of the eject command?

It was good though, its obvious a lot of work has gone into this and i love the top-down view, reminds me of the old games.

Haha, great level!
Really laughed. It's so funny!

Just got a few bugs:

- change the emitters of the weapons to "ignore parent velocity" (the fly faster when you are turning around)
- you spin infinitely when you let the stick go after turning around a bit (add an anti gravity tool with "dampening" on about 40/50% to fix that)

I had a lot of fun though! Until the mad chickens killed me with their mega shots!

Thanks redshadow, i really apreciate the play... Il just go put a bit more dampening on to see if it works... I will also try the ignore parent velocity to see if it works well but it could be the rocket rotators acting up!

Hi ya! First things first I really enjoyed the concept, the overall design of the level, the attention to background detail and the 2-player mechanic (I only played single-player but know it would be awesome). However, I found it incredibly frustrating to control the direction of the craft - is it using an analogue rotator or what? It seemed to start randomly changing direction which really frustrated me tbh. If I was just using the controls wrong perhaps more detailed instructions would help?

But anyways, otherwise than directional issues I think it's a good level and a nice idea!

I found the controls very simple and they didn't play up at all
Only thing i can say is.. Change the icon, you will roll in more plays with a better icon, its a bit bland...
But other than that, i loved the detail you put in, maybe change the lighting a bit as well? Make it a bit darker, i mean are cows abducted during the day? Nope.

I have now added more detail to the control explaination because it does use a directional rotator.

How is the best way to make good logos? Mabie anyone could surgest a better name?

Awesome mini-game!

Completely original, challenging, and fun, i loved it.

I think you have the difficulty down to a tee here, its quite challenging, but not so much that it puts you off, i played several times and will definitely re-visit it in the future, im interested to try it with two players and i love the idea of having one as the gunner and one as the pilot. You are probably one of the first people to use that idea in LBP 2, and its a great one.

Maybe it would be nice if there was some sort of time delay major cannon? Like a mini nuke thing you only get one or two of?

It looked really nice, the birds eye view kind of thing works really well, and i like the little things like hay bales and tractors.

Another suggestion, it would be nice to see the map stretch a bit larger and have a bit more variety, and this would open up the possibility of having maybe a couple of semi-boss cows (lol)? Or different varieties of ones, as far as health, and damage/weapons go.

I played the level and I must say that I am Impressed. Great level, the only thing is the left stick controls, they don't seem to aim where i want them to. @steve- planning to release some new features that you suggested sometime tomorrow if I have time!

Major update coming tomorrow if I get it finished! Shield, area at least 3-4 times the size, more types of enemys, repair pickups(if they work)!

So I played your level a couple of days ago, I have to say it's really really fun. I wish I could have played with another person but I didn't get the chance. But today I'll play with my daughter. My only suggestion would be to make the ship a wee bit smaller, it seems a bit large to me, and I kept getting cows hiding under it. But perhaps that was what you intended.

Overall a fun level though. Thanks for making it.

i smiled as i played this. funny idea and cool level.

you should do a button to skip the introducion at the beginning if you saw it 3 times it gets little bit long to wait. people would play it more often i guess than.
i think you should change a little bit with the controlls for the L stick, it's hard to avoid the cows shooting back this way.

other than that i had fun to play it x)
