You'd be surprised. A lot of members here are pretty good political debaters. Also the advertisement is put up at random, I doubt CC is asked by one specific company a day to advertise here. Oh yeah I forgot, if you donate to the site, you don't see any pop-ups No wonder I haven't seen any.

C'mon, just get AdBlock! Yes definatly get adblock so you can block little ads that you barely even notice. The same ads that fuel this site the money it needs to stay up? Anyway besides that, the ads are not random. They are generated by the text on the current page. So if there is a thread about pokemon, where the word "pokemon" appears a lot, then you can expect ads about Pokemon or other TCG

I've taken the policy of avoiding products and companies who make adverts that annoy me. I would suggest everyone does the same, and pretty soon they would hopefully get the message, that advertising in an annoying way would not be beneficial to them.
