Yeah is it possible to have play a whole level under a menu type screen? with functions like a menu screen. E.G. New Shape ( then emitting a shape onto the screen )

Yes it's very possible, sounds like your tryig to make a level that IS a level creator. I had that idea a while ago and still working on it, Kim even trying to make my own pop it for the sabot to have that you play as.

Is there any tutorials or anything of how to keep it going, or can I use the methods from my main menu and just extend it through the whole gameplay time? And I'm looking into that level creator idea, I'm working on two projects at the same time, which makes it even more difficult. currently I'm working on some sort of card game, and I think it would be easier if it was played in the main menu type view.
