Controllinator jumping

Trying to make a rideable animal that can jump, original idea I know. Anyway I have impact sensors stuck to the feet connected to an 'or' gate and an inverted 'or' gate so the animal would move differently when in the air or on ground. The ground sensor also is connected to one port of an 'and' gate. The other port is connected to the the x button so it takes the x button AND the ground logic to initiate my jump logic.

It all sounds good and I know that it will work but I am having trouble figuring out the impact sensor it is staying engaged even when the feet aren't on the ground. I cannot figure out if I need to tag the ground for the impact sensor or what.

It will jump and come down... Just not all the way to the ground. There is no antigravity on it whatsoever. My jump logic is almost like that of the robobun in that it activates a counter set to 1 and then timers on movers. But because the impact sensor stays on the jump kind of works like a bird pressing the x button repeatedly will make fly up and holding x OR letting go of x makes it come back down. Any ideas/suggestions would be awesome.

The impact sensor will react to any object not glued to it, so if your animal's legs are bolted to it, they'll register that the animal itself is touching them. The way to get around this is to glue a bit of holo to the bottom of the feet and stick your impact sensors on there instead of on the legs.2011-01-29 21:10:00
