LBP1 level magic mouths

| Is there a way to take the magic mouths from an LBP1 level and upgrade them to LBP2 magic mouths? The only difference is that LBP2 magic mouths have an output so you can trigger them in sequence, but that's what I need! I've tried stamping the LBP2 mouths over the LBP1 mouths hoping to get the music sequencer behavior but they just replace the old mouth with the empty text new one.
