Menu: Left / Right Selector

| Hey guys, I have a pretty simple Menu setup, so it's annoying me that it's not working how I want it to. Probably a simple fix. My menu only has two options. Left = Solo Player. Right = Multiplayer. I have both options surrounded by colored holo attached to a switch. And I've got my sackboy automatically into a controlinator: Here's the problem. I can't seem to get LEFT and RIGHT d-pad or joystick outputs to turn on the holo. I have the Right/Left Holo attached to a direction splitter, and then take the split signal to the Left and Right holo, respectively. However, when I play, nothing seems to happen. When I changed the controller output from Left/Right to L1 / R1, it works perfectly. Whats the nuance with the direction i'm missing? Then have the outputs connect to each of the pieces of holo & also have x or something connected to each as well. Because in that case, it needs to "default" on either Right or Left.
