OK, slightly controversial, but just looking back at some earlier videos of the game (Im talking GDC 07), I cant help but think differently about littlebigplanet. When you see the whole 'Oranges and Footballs and Crazy Stickers everywhere' approach it makes you wonder how since Mm have sobered up a bit and gotten more 'sensible' if that makes sense. Take the skateboard for example. Its huge, and has colourful highlighter marks on the wheels. If Mm were to do one now, they wouldnt. They would do a home-made cart ingame instead. If you get what i'm saying, the art direction has significantly evolved since then. Anyonelse feel the same way? EDIT: Heres a comparison to show what I mean (attached) EDIT AGAIN: Just looked at the thread an realized some people may have misheard me. I was simply stating that the art direction may have changed, that isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Just different. The title 'Lost Its Touch' may a bit OTT, so I changed it to 'changed' instead.

Uh; not at all. If you really want the skateboard to have colored wheels you can decorate them with stickers. More people would want to color the wheels themselves then just have a predecorated skateboard.

I see what you mean. You could grab oranges and footballs then too. I guess they may have changed it to fit in with the story mode, and dont forget these were very early builds.

Just like a Thanksgiving dinner, we've simply eaten too much. Now it's time for a nap. Maybe a rousing game of MGO to give me some time to think about how awesome LBP is. And for us creators, we're simply getting....creators block.
