I spend a lot of time in create mode, so I like to have something playing in the background. However, in LBP1 and LBP2 pressing down and going into hover mode turns off the in game music for some reason. In LBP 1 you could get around this by "holding to retry", which would put you into hover mode without turning off the background music. However, in LBP 2 this trick does not work, and the only remaining option is to go into hover mode, tough something, come out and activate music, and then rewind to get back into hover mode. I'd love to have a simpler way to just listen to the in game music rather than blank nothingness during create mode, and without using the music player. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be achieved?

Sure- just hook a battery or randomizer to whatever song you want to listen to, and that should do it.

Well, the randomiser did restart the music after hover mode stopped it. However, on rewinding and fiddling with a battery setup, I got a nasty glitch and the sound shut off for the whole game. I don't understand why the music turns off when you go into hover mode anyway. It's a bit ridiculous.
