(longer version/sequel in the pipes now)

play rate and comments and i'll return the favour

cheers guys

(ps i dont have a capture card so cant do screenshots, if anybody wants to take a snap of the level and post it on here for me it would be worth a player heart to me cheers guys)

Queued, will leave some feedback after playing. Could you do the same for me, level is in my sig. And you can add screenshots if you take them in lbp then upload them to your lbp.me , then click on the pictures and post them here

Just played, i thought this was great, the visuals are outstanding.
One suggestion: you should put a grappling hook on the checkpoint to the right of it so if you die you dont have to run back and get it again.

::EDIT:: Review as follows-
I'll review both parts, 1 & 2, here.

I absolutely loved the levels in this series. I found the camera angles to be very well placed and used, the sound was spot on, and the environment was authentic. I really enjoyed playing these levels.

For part 1, after you receive the grappling hook and you have to jump upwards to grapple onto the object( when you're surrounded by electricity) I was very much confused. When you first receive the grappling hook, you soon pass a checkpoint. Then the material of the floor changes ( grayish color ). The floor gives off the look of being electrified even though it is not (because of the materials around it). I was jumping from way back trying to get off but I kept dying and then realized the floor was actually safe. You may want to check that out, perhaps change material if possible so it doesn't look that way?

In part 2, I loved the Jetpack. It was absolutel brilliant. Overall, I really liked the series. - Hearted both of them!
Cheers!

cheers for the plays and feedback mate, i'm going to go back and touch up the first level once i've finished the third, planning on replacing the grappling hook with a switch to spawn one by the checkpoint so you only have to do that jump once, and i'll have a look at the materials while im there

just playing your level now ill post a full review tomorrow (its late lol)

thanks again

I played both of your levels. I thought the first one was a little too short. I enjoyed the look of it, but wanted more of a story in place. I really liked the controllinator idea that you implemented there. The second level was much more ambitious, but it was also more difficult. The little patch of electricity kept getting me at the beginning, also when the floor goes out I wasn't expecting it and moved a little to the left which lead to an instant death. The Jetpack was cool and controlled pretty well, but hovering with it was sort of difficult. I died a lot on the part where you go straight down and there are three electrified obstacles in a row. It's difficult enough to pass two so you might want to think of ditching the third one. Other than that, I look forward on what you make in the future I see a lot of potential, especially with your second level.2011-01-31 21:39:00
