Bounce Mania!! Hard Mode

Hello Everyone! I had a little fun with multiple bounce pad platforms, I might have gotten a little carried away, but I had fun doing it. This particular level is definitely a Hard Mode Challenge!! There is a Fire Demon Robot named Celsifer, that is bouncing around with you in each platform. It makes for an interesting challenge. Plus the bounce pads randomly turn to fire as well. So this level is not only challenging on skill but on plain luck as well. Granted there are tons of bubble that can be gathered throughout each level. There are three bounce platforms and each one will get a little harder than the previous one. Now, some people may think that this is too hard, and they might be right. But I am asking for actual constructive feedback to make the level more player friendly. I still want to keep this level challenging so keep that in mind. Just finished playing 1st on the scoreboard I dont think Celcifer likes me very much i think you should try to base the level a little more on luck A suggestion would be to have some sort of indicator to know which bounce pads will be on fire next. On the last bounce pad place i fell out of the square after i spawned, this happened both times i played it, you should prevent this from happening. How do you set up for it to show where the pads are going to flame next? Is there a "thing" to put on the micro chip to indicate with light or something? Still learning how to use it, so helpful information is greatly appreciated!! Was Celcifer too much? I originally had him follow, but I would always instantly die. Now he is set on idle just bouncing around at random. Is there a better setting to put him on... flee maybe, but then it goes back to being easy mode. There probably is add me if you want and I could help, I'm guessing stick invisible hologram on each bounce pad. And have it turn red maybe 2 seconds before it goes on fire, and leave Celcifer I liked the idea it still has to stay hard. | 2011-01-28 02:07:00 Author: arsenalfan_1995 Posts: 229 |
Well if you hadn't guessed, this level needed tweaking as well. I had to adjust Celcifer so he didn't kill everyone immediately, I added lights to indicate when the bounce pads are going to flame, and I fixed the problems of getting tossed out of the playing area. If there is anything else anyone sees that is wrong, please let me know so I can fix it.
