Sticker Editing Tool?
Archive: 9 posts
I don't know if someone has already suggested this on the forum, but i feel that there should be a sticker editing ability in the game. For example: you would take a picture of something, but then you would also have the option to trim the edges of the sticker so that it doesn't have a background. | 2011-01-27 22:55:00 Author: Unknown User |
I haven't tried it out yet but there is a sticker editing tool... is that what it does? | 2011-01-27 23:48:00 Author: Krondelo Posts: 136 |
Nah that cuts the material to fit the sticker | 2011-01-28 09:20:00 Author: RAWTalent Posts: 224 |
Why not simply cut the material to fit the shape in the pic that you want? Same thing? I mean, why exactly do you want to edit a sticker if its the same thing to make what you want a picture of with materials, and take a picture of it and set it where you want it. It not that difficult, and honestly a sticker editing tool would seem pretty redundat and pointless. There's no reall "Need" to it at all actually, or how woujld it benefit in a way that we could not do it already on about the same amount of time? | 2011-01-28 09:26:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
No, I've wanted something like this as well. At the least, I want to be able to have a sticker I snap become square instead of rectangular, for custom microchips. You can remove the microchip sticker and put your own on, but either you're limited to a rectangle in the middle, or the edges of it bleed onto the frame surrounding the chip. (I'll try to remember to take a picture showing what I mean when I get home.) Also, if you're coloring a costume (for yourself or a sackbot) you can't exactly trim off excess geometry to get the sticker to line up how you want. | 2011-01-28 09:52:00 Author: Balorn Posts: 92 |
I'd love UV edit mode for Sackboy, like you can pull up the actual UV map for each costume part and sticker it how you like, COMPLETE CONTROL! | 2011-01-28 11:48:00 Author: RAWTalent Posts: 224 |
I would like this. Maybe some sort of tool that acts like the sticker is a layer and deletes part of it making it transparent. It would have the normal shapes when placing materials. | 2011-01-28 14:39:00 Author: Retro Posts: 104 |
I wish there were a material that would let you place stuff in front and take a picture and then the picture would be the shape of the objects, not a rectangle. Sort of like the transparent sticker glitch, but official. | 2011-01-28 16:08:00 Author: Super_Dork_42 Posts: 1874 |

Yes we can live w/o it but its still a nce idea :/ @op: this has been suggested on multipule forums mulitiple times | 2011-01-28 19:40:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
