Darkness

I've been thinking about making a dark level (or set of levels), kinda like the one in LBP1 with the dog.
Except how about instead of following a dog, solving puzzles to light the way ahead

Perhaps deadly enemies that are repelled by light (I'm thinking something along the lines of the Kryll from Gears of War)

Maybe space station/alien planet/post-apocalyptic setting

Some sackbot companions should be on the horizon aswell (I would do a torch-bearing one if I could figure out how to get one to grab a torch)

Also lots of contraptions (spaceship, robotic suit, maybe car chase)
And hopefully a huge boss character thats resilient to light

What do you think?
Would you play it?

Any other suggestions

Grabinator on a sackbot, you can get him to hold the torch. OR... just attach the thing to his hands, but then he wouldnt be able to drop it.2011-01-28 10:25:00

Well, I figured out how to get the sackbot to carry the torch (^^ basically what you said) and I've decided to make him a main character (Probably something along the lines of him helping you for a short while at the start, you get split up, you are forced to proceed without him, then you bump into him near the end)

I'll continue work on this as soon as I finish up making my PONG game (Beta out now, search 'PONG BETA&apos
