Help With Logic on my Level

Hi Everyone.
I'm new to the forums, i've been creating a level for the past 2 days now and thought that i was doing something correctly with the selector but it does not seem to be so. I would appreciate if someone could help me out. Im currently streaming me creating on justin.tv if you follow the link you should be able to see me and also chat. Ok, im going to explain it aswell just for those people that cant access the site. Basically i'm creating a pinball machine, i have most of it functioning bumbers ect. I have a Impacts area that if you hit it i want it to change all the score givers on the level to double and then triple x2 x3 multiplier if you will. The way i have it setup at the moment is like this:-

on every item that gives a score is an impact detector, this then links 3 times into a selectors all 3 inputs, the selector is then linked from input 1 to 3 to score givers.
1 being normal score, 2 being double, 3 being triple. This is the case with every scoreable object on the level. I then created the area that should be hit to activate the x2 x3 ect and added an impact detector, thins then links to the selector CYCLE input, now i would have though this would change the path so that when the other items get hit it would use the 2 input score giver. but it doesnt seem to work like that, also now i have set it up like that you can only hit objects once to give score.
THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!

please help.

Ok, for the X1, X2, X3 issue, try this:

Whatever area you hit to make the multiple happen, hook up to 2 counters. Counter 1: a 1 count. Counter 2: a 2 count. Counter reset: a sensor for when the ball "dies."

Connect each counter to its own AND gate. Connect all inputs for your impact scorers to these AND gates as well as your score giver. Connect each AND gate to its own score giver. Now, it should work for the multipliers.
