One Time Switch/Button

Is there a way to accomplish receiving input once from a user and only generate the desired effect once and never again with only the logic tools? I see it all the time in story levels where a button or switch that requires user input won't work again if you try pressing it again, seems like a much needed skill to have in create mode to avoid unnecessary failures in how the level works. hook the output of the button to a counter, and have the counter limit be 1. hook the output of the counter to anything you want to trigger from the button. just make sure no wires are hooked up to the bottom of the counter and you should be good | 2011-01-27 07:47:00 Author: Shhabbazz Posts: 746 |
Make a counter with a max of 1. Attach a switch as the input to the counter, and then output the counter to whatever you want to activate once.
