As a lot of you will have noticed, you can now receive invites via PSN from anybody whenever you go online, even if they aren't on your friends list. Now this won't be a problem for many people, but since I published Clockworx 2 yesterday, I have had hundreds of these PSN invites. I literally get about 1 every 10 seconds. The only solution that I've found to stop getting them is to never play online, which I don't even consider to be an option. It's incredibly annoying. So, is this feature really needed at all? Is there anything good that comes from inviting non-friends? I think there should at least be some sort of option in the profile settings to disable getting these invites.

Is this the thing that comes through on PSN messages as well - because I'm getting a tonne of PSN messages inviting me to join people when I'm not even online.... Or is this something on top of that?

I thought their was an auto reject non friends option? That's only for join requests. Unless I'm missing something... Yeah, that's the one. So they can still send them when you're offline as well?

Thats seems unpleasant. Again sometimes the community can have a bad side, so a feature to block that is needed. Its unfortunate that a stand out level can get its creator constant annoyance as a reward.

I saw the invite option in peoples profile in the beta, I thought it was a bug. Guess like I should of complained about it earlier. I just filled my friends list too, when will the blank messages end? It's a part of LBP I don't like Yes you can invite people offline or on, just go to their profile and there should be an "invite" button... BAH! The invite button could be helpful for some, but IMO it's massively outweighed by people being flooded with them by making popular levels.

Oh well, I don't think it is such a bad option as long as no message appears on screen asking you to press "X" to join. It has happened to me that I've wanted to invite someone and I had to send a friend request to be able to join. I get tons of these mesages too, and the only problem I have with them is they're filling my inbox with "invite" messages...

I'm pretty sure if we all flood both Tom and Spaff with invites, they'll twist someone's arm to add a feature to turn this off But I didn't suggest that...

That is annoying. I just guess if they see someone with an awesome level, they jump to try and add you to help them out and stuff.

I thought their was an auto reject non friends option? Im sure there was? I know there are 3 different sections, each having th options of 'Auto-Reject' 'Auto-Accept' 'Ask Always'... I just can't remember which are the 3? Oh well, I don't think it is such a bad option as long as no message appears on screen asking you to press "X" to join There one thing I'm annoyed at, accidently Joining/Accepting... I was hoping there would be an override failsafe (like, hold Start for 5 seconds) to cancel any players joining/ you leaving your area. :/

This is PSN cross game invites (yea they work even outside the game), they are complitly different then normal invites since they come in form of PSN message so game it self can't do much in current form, it need to prevent sending invites for those who don't want to, thats only way to block it
