How do I make an A/D conversion?

| Hiya guys, I have a conundrum. I want to convert a timer's status (analog signal) into a health meter made with holographic materials (digital signal). I'm wondering what the easiest setup would be. Basically, all I want is for my system to light up tags the more filled the timer is. | You could use a Sequencer set to Positional and receiving a signal from the timer. Then place batteries along the sequencer and connect each battery to one of the holographic segments. As the timer increase, the sequencer will move forward activating the batteries (and holographic segments) with it.
