Invisible Gas

| Hi, Could anyone help me with a problem Im having in regards to my old LBP1 levels and invisible gas that is now very much visible and very much non deletable? The invisible gas was made by making dark matter as small as possible and making it gas (all in LBP1). This worked well. When loaded up in LBP2, this gas is now multi colored and ruining the general look of the levels. How do I delete it? I can't select it, I can't tweak it, I can't draw over it and I can't stop it making that god awful sound (flies around crap noise). Both my Patchwork World and Sack in a Box levels are suffering with this problem if I haven't done a good job of explaining myself.
