Topsy Turvy Techno Town

My first LBP2 level is out! A simple platfomer with multiple camera angles and a shooting section incorporated to.

All feedback is appreciated, I'l' add pictures soon.

I liked the visual style and I thought that the flipped section was well done. It would be nice to maybe have a couple more things in the flipped section though. I had some problems with the shooter section though. If you get too close to one of the green walls, your gun doesn't fire anymore. Since there's no reverse, you have to start over. You should also try to make it so that if the ship is destroyed, a new one spawns so that you don't have to restart the level if it gets smashed. If you do that, add a spawn point in the ship room so that the player doesn't have to start from the creatinator section again if they die in the ship section. The ending is very abrupt; It's kind of funny, but I would rather have a scoreboard personally. I actually thought I paused the game on accident when I finished it. I don't know if this was intentional, but the sackbot changes costumes when he gives you the ship. It's fine if it was intentional, but I thought you'd want to know just in case.

If you could give me feedback on my level I'd really appreciate it.

EDIT: OK, here goes. As with all my level feedback's, this is written as I play it. Opening was cool with the camera switch, though the general area felt a bit empty. Any reason why the camera 'blips' about halfway down the walk? The low gravity made be jump over one hole and fall into the other, which I thought added a nice challenge, though I would really put a checkpoint somewhere. I kept falling into the hole after the lift put me up, I'd make the pause longer. I'm not entriely sure what pulling the switch did, mind. It was quite hard to make the jump to the creatinator, I'd make it smaller. Someone joined me, you can guess who Really liked the platform jumping bit after the creationater, best part so far, though the movie camera lasted too long. Oh, analogue is filtered by the way. Also, you dieing made me realise, there is a real lack of checkpoints. Add more. Shooting section was very nice, I'd add a backwards button though. Wha? Looks like that's the end, I guess. Bit weird, I have to say.

Anywho, gameplay-wise, this is a great start, can't wait to see what else you come up with. Grapically it felt a bit empty, mind. I gave a

Thanks for the Feedback, it is very helpful.

I fixed the character near the spaceship and i have added a checkpoint there. Also it now spawnes a new one when you die.

The start of your level was very cool. I like the idea of inverse control it was pretty tought to get use to. The camera angles r well done.
The part with the ship was a little easy. I think it would be better if you put obstacles that move horizontaly!! I just destroyed every thing in this part very easily.
Its a good level
