Hi Sackmates. I have LBP2 since the release and the story-levels are great. this at the beginning. my problem is, that the community-levels from LBP1 have sometimes bugs when i play them in lbp2. as i assume there is no possibility to make them being played as they where intented to in LBP1, right? Sad about this, so i have to return to lbp1 for a while. no great thing, lbp2 is a masterpiece though. but my question is: is there a possibility to see, whether a level was made in lbp1 or lbp2? and is there a possibility to see with one view, whether the levels from lbp1 are playing the same as in lbp2? i haven't found an option on lbp.me, maybe i have overseen something. At least: many thanks to the creators for their work, many thanks to mm for making such a great game like lbp2. Many thanks for your answers Soggi

Hi, I could be wrong, but I think that whilst in the game, a game icon that has a little green tree button on it means that it is a LBP1 level. However, if you republish your LBP1 level in LBP2, it re-certifies it as a LBP2 level and removes the little green tree button.. it also removes it from LBP1 as far as I can tell.

Hi Malhat06. Many thanks for your answer. I will try your tip this evening. BTW: I love your levels, they are great. It it is nice you have updated it for lbp2. But I can't understand why not all level are compatible to LBP2. As far as I remember your level "Sack in a box" didn't worked correctly in lbp2. many thanks for fixing it already. Greetings Soggi

All my levels have had some sort of problem transferring.. wether it be now visible invisible gas, or old school logic not liking new school logic. I'm in the process of fixing and fully updating some of the levels which is why I noticed this little green tree icon which vanished when I republished them in LBP2. Thanks for your nice comments Glad you enjoyed the levels.

When looking at community levels from LBP2, the pink tree means they were created in LBP1. The pink tree also shows in LBP.me if you click on the level itself. For example.. http://lbp.me/v/s3x8nv << one of mine just to show the tree. Quite a few levels, even from more know creators are broken somewhat in LBP2. Some will not load and those creators have taken advantage of the new feature in LBP2 to make them only playable and seen from LBP1. Quite a bit of the issues are lighting making them way too dark, ugly or simply unplayable. Other issues are that the thermo is too large and will not work in LBP2 as well as things just not working at all in LBP2. If you search this site you will find numerous posts concerning the issues as well as the creators talking about this topic.

You can also use the filters option (triangle) and choose whether to show levels only from LBP1, LBP2 or both
