Emit Wires?
Archive: 3 posts
Anyone know if there is there a way to emit a object with the wires attached? Or any way to make a object come back to it's original position without a emitter after it has been destroyed other than having the destruction tool activate & make another one come from like the side of the screen? | 2011-01-26 07:33:00 Author: IAmChavez Posts: 142 |
Instead of using wires directly from source to a gizmo, you can use Tag Keys and Tag Sensors to create wireless circuits. instead of activating your gizmo with a wire, attach said wire to a local Tag Key. Then be sure to have a Tag Sensor with large radius on your emitted gizmo. For having objects returning to the original position, you can use Followers and Tag Keys. Activate the Tag Key briefly, and give the Follower a huge radius and a Speed value of 30 or something. The object with the follower will now try to return to the location of the Tag Key as long as the Tag is turned on. I hope this helps | 2011-01-26 07:42:00 Author: Slaeden-Bob Posts: 605 |
