Today, I spent at least an hour total trying to play co-op online. It is extremely tedious as people always reject playing with you, and beating the game 100% is quite time consuming due to this. Please, Media Molecule, make it how it was in LittleBigPlanet (1): Play Online Play on my own

Its does do that (in a way I suppose), it usually brings up a notification of whether you want to join the people in the level or not, when the level loads. If it isn't doing this for you, there's an option in your start menu profile settings where you can tweak whether or not you join people in levels. But yeah, the two button combo was much simpler, I agree.

Yea, it wouldn't be as much of a problem if it searched for other people if sombody rejected you instead of going in the level with nobody to help you. I have never played lbp1 so i dont know how it was before.

Just my opinion, but I like the new level online/offline select interference more. I dunno, it just seems more obvious. Quite often in LBP1, I would accidentally select "Play Online" due to merely the similarities between the two options, but now, due to that pop up menu, it's more noticeable, and I haven't made the mistake yet! ....That didn't make any sense, did it...?
