PSP content needed on the LBPWiki!

Archive: 32 posts

Hey everyone-

In case you've been living under a rock (or even if you haven't), there is an awesome new LBP Wiki (http://www.wiki.lbpcentral.com/) out there for us all to use and enjoy. The LBPWiki team has done an outstanding job of getting this whole thing going, but they need our help!

If you know a little something about LBP PSP (which you know you do), why not contribute an article or two? I'm going to do my best to add as much content as possible, but I can't get it all done by myself. Don't feel comfortable with your ability to write an article? Don't worry about it! I'd be happy to help proofread anything either before or after it's posted.

Well, what are you waiting for? Let's get writing!

Because I have made a reputation for myself by writing lengthy and pointless disclaimers, I am now morally obligated to create another. User contributions to the above mentioned LBPWiki are neither mandated nor rewarded, but anybody actually contributing content will be widely admired and idolized by the entire LBP community. The only necessary motivation for writing or editing an entry should be an extreme sense of self-satisfaction which can be used to lord over one's piers by means of an enviably smug expression. Party poopers Individuals not wishing to contribute to the Wiki will not be assaulted with water balloons, thrown into a swimming pool filled with yogurt, or spray painted fuchsia while they sleep; the rest of the community however reserves the right to imagine these things happening to said individuals while giggling maniacally to themselves. In order to avoid being the object of such strange mental imagery, the simple answer is just to write something for the darned Wiki already and be done with it. Those of you still reading this fascinating-in-a-train-wreck-kind-of-way disclaimer are at this point undoubtedly waiting for me to make some kind of odd remark, but be warned that I absolutely will not make any reference to robotic squirrels working in a custard pie factory, free samples of skunk soup, or textbooks that smell like bananas. If you do decide to contribute to the Wiki, you will be rewarded handsomely with images of the most delicious cookie/biscuit in existence.

I always liked editing wikis so when I saw the LBP one, I was jumping for joy. Till I realized I have no computer and am on a PSP that gets screwy after two or more sentences.

Good luck though.

Hey everyone! I've been making pretty good progress so far, mostly on the DLC section of the Wiki. I need help sourcing a few images and I just wanted to see if any of you have had better luck than I have on the interwebz.

I'm looking for as-official-as-possible images of the Lunar Lander costume and Yuletide Sack Pack. I have an old picture of the Lunar Lander but I also need the "icon" that you see on the PlayStation store. I can't find anything at all for the Yuletide pack... stickers costumes or anything at all. Help!

The other thing that needs doing is lists of stickers and materials that are winnable for each of the story mode levels. Any takers?

umm...
take pics on a white dackgrounb?Yeah that's always an option, but ideally it would be nice to have one of the "official" sticker sheet images from Mm themselves. For whatever reason they never posted the Yuletide pack on LittleBigPlanet.com. There's some stuff out there that just doesn't seem to have an official image, such as the Super Sackboy Trophy! sticker - the only thing I have so far is the screenshot I took of mine.

as for stickers and materials i am already on it.
but dont expect miracles!Miracles not necessary! Just a bit of digging around is all we really need. Thanks unXpectiD! :hero:

ask vj about yuletide pack he made a mini showcase for it a while back.Ah, ok - good call. I'll do that.

I dont know what to write about, should I just do overviews of Story mode???Sure, that will work. There's loads and loads of really basic stuff that needs to be done as well without having to be creative and/or do any writing. Any detail at all that you can add to the story mode level section would be great, because right now all the pages are just blank. You could go in and add the level description text and perhaps the list of materials/stickers/objects you get in that level. There's a few FAQs out there that will detail all the information you need, you just need to put it in Wiki format. I can help you with that bit if you need. If in doubt just post it up and then ask me to review it.

Once you come up with the first page the rest are easy - just copy and paste your template and change the information. That's what I've been doing for the DLC pages I've been putting together. Pretty simple, just takes a little time.

I'm on it as well. I have a list of what you get and where. I just need to type it up, gonna take a lot of time. Working on the first level, Walkabout. Someone will probably have to come in after me and clean it up, I'm using a cell phone so it will be kind of rough around the edges.

Edit: won't let me properly edit the page on my phone, so I'm just going to leave this here-

DOWN UNDER:
Walkabout: (alphabetically)
STICKERS:
Aboriginal cactus sticker, Blazing sun sticker, blue and black stripes sticker, brown bars sticker, brown flower sticker, cogs sticker, frog face sticker, frog eye sticker, hay bale sticker, kangaroo sticker, kangaroo sign sticker, mask sticker, mosquito sticker, ned head sticker, pouch sticker, pink arrow sticker, surf sign sticker, red beard sticker, rugby ball sticker and wheel barrow sticker.

COSTUME PIECES:
Blue rinse hair, cork hat, crocodile boots, fancy glasses, Khaki shorts, khaki shirt, mustard dress, mustard shoes, pearl necklace and pink hand bag.

AUDIO OBJECTS:
Neopolitan dreams audio object

MATERIALS:
Bleached planks material, cork material, green paper material and rusty steel material.

OBJECTS:
Aboriginee object, boomerang object, kangaroo object, rugby posts object and tutorial sign object.

LEVEL COMPLETE GIFTS:
Stickers:
Pitchfork sticker
Background:

COLLECTED ALL GIFTS:

I noticed something when i was on the wiki, if you click on your name at the top it takes you to a wiki page with your name as the title. It is editable, what is this for?

At some point I'll go through all of the materials and take screen captures of each like what they've done for the PS3 section.

So we are not allowed to say things like, "Discovered by _______." ?

*Thinks about a glitch section*

NVM, My name would appear to often.

EDIT: Added Glitch materials. The ones I discovered. The obtainable Solid Gases, Clear Basic Glass, and Styrofoam.

I hadn't noticed you guys had made your own PSP thread about the wiki, it's things like this that keep everyone separated!

That's your own user page. You can do anything you like with it (within reason). Most people use it to write about themselves, you can also put this userbox (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Templaterofile_box) template in there too.

No, you can post the glitch, just not credit the user for it.

But can I post the glitches I've found on my profile page? (I hope so.)

Awesome! I think I might go a little overboard with this one (person user page).

In order to bring the community "back together" how about we all add content to both the PS3 and PSP sections of the Wiki? Problem solved?
