Help for racing camera

Ok so I'm working on a MotorStorm racing level, and the biggest problem I have right now is the camera. Basically I want the player to be on a controlinator far from the track but I want the camera to focus on the moving car. Problem is it doesn't really want to. Yeah, the game camera has issues. What you need to do is use a movie camera and put it on a sackbot's circuitboard (for some reason, the black bars don't appear if you do this), then remote control the sackbot, and put the sackbot in the car's controllinator. I don't think there needs to be a sackbot. And by "don't think," I mean "I know there doesn't need to be." In my pac-man level, the gameboard is far away from my sackboy. I have a movie camera at the gameboard, and it's activated by the "Controlinator Active" output on my transmitting controlinator. I've got a question in a similar vein, and didn't want to start a whole new thread: If I have a level, let's say a racing level, and I connect a movie camera on a car to the Controlinator Active input. Will that camera active for ONLY the player in that controlinator? Take, for instance, this setup: At the start of my racing level, I have all players enter a Controlinator which will remotely control the Race Car. Mounted to the race car is a movie camera. If you're going the remote control route, you'll need to use a movie camera, not a game camera. You'll want to set it to infinite hold time so that it stays with the vehicle the whole time.
