Call of Duty Black Ops Group (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/group.php?groupid=684)

I would like to help you, my record is 22 in Kino der toten if I'm not wrong. (online w/ 4 people)
But I'm facing some PS3 issues right now so you'll have to look for other players.

I already told you that you could add me, on that visitor message, but anyone else that likes zombies, add "KlawwTheClown", pl0x.

I've been to 34 on 2 player with Incinerator on Kino Der Toten, solo'd to 27.

I've been to 30 on 2 player with my brother on Dead Ops, solo'd to 32.

I've been to, like, 12 on "Five"...

And, I'm getting the First Strike map pack day one, so anyone who wants to go monkey hunting, feel free to add me.

lol

"Five" is hard, mainly because of the narrow passages they have in there. The farthest I've gone on it was 26, but that's with 4 people, and my TV broke down during the match. So yeah, who knows what round I could have gone up to. :/

As for First Strike, I can't wait to use the hovercraft! You know, until I get everything fixed first.

I got to 33 on Kino online with 3 other friends. The way I see it there's 2 good strategies for zombies, the latter working better for Kino but the other still working fine:
1.) Find a camping spot and stay there only leaving to get mystery boxes or "power-ups." (My best = 24 with 4 people, then losing one in the middle of a level)
2.) Run around running laps around the map developing a "train" of zombies. (My best = 33 with 4 people, could've gotten further but we actually got bored and one of us had to go in a bit.)

RUNNING LAP STRATEGY:
So after opening all the doors start in the main room on each level, after killing some zombies for 30 secs or so start running up the right staircase (facing the stairs) and go through the first door, continue running until you reach the stage. (Note that getting through the dressing room right before the stage is deceiving and actually extremely hard, sprint through this area without looking back.) After reaching the stage hold off the zombies coming from the dressing room always keeping a look out ahead of you (ALWAYS BE CHECKING THE DIRECTION YOU'RE GOING TO RUN, ABOUT EVERY 5 SECONDS). Run through the theater back to the main area. Every time you reach the main area shoot the zombies coming up from the theater. RESTART THE LAP AND REPEAT.

Levels 1-4: Stay in main area without opening any doors. On the first 2-3 levels let the zombies in to get max ammo and other "power-ups." This helps you get the most points/money and helps you a lot in the next few levels.

Levels 5-13ish: Open doors starting with the one on the top right of the staircases in the main area. Continue opening doors following that path and as soon as you reach the stage (make sure you have enough money to buy guns off walls if needed) turn on the power. Right away set up the teleporter link. When there are dogs stay together on stage and runs in circles (going the same direction) or stay in the corner making sure at least 1 person is always moving. At the end of each dog level there is a max ammo so don't be afraid to use your best gun to kill the dogs and wait for everyone to reload before collecting the max ammo. Continue on opening all the doors (open the one leading from the theater to the beginning room first) and make sure to always have enough money and one good weapon (ray gun is the best to have, LMG's second best).

Important Tips that Really Help

- Everyone should have a mic. This helps with communication and can save someone who is stranded all alone.
- Stick together. Don't stray from the group and go solo unless needed.
- Play with friends. Playing with people you know prevents random people from leaving or losing the game for you if they aren't very good.
- Always stick to the plan. If you're camping, camp. If you're running laps, run laps. You can change midway just make sure everyone knows what you're doing.
- Only take the teleporter to upgrade guns and not to escape (unless absolutely necessary.)
For now that is all I can think of and I hope this helps.
SEND ME A Private Message if you need any clarification I'd be happy to help.

Yeah I think it's the most fun too

Even though it's probably the quickest way, it still took us 8 hours to get to lvl 33 believe it or not. We got crawlers on levels where we needed bathroom breaks or to eat and one person could keep watch on the crawlers. Gotta love babysitters

So yeah, who knows what round I could have gone up to. :/

I should mention we didn't actually die at round 34: Klaww had to go. And we'd gotten a max ammo the round before.

Our death was epic however. I threw 3 monkey bombs at my feet and zombies surrounded me.

Suicide cult?

Also, you have no idea (or maybe you have) of hom many times everyone died at the beginning of the round and I had to finish all the zombies alone. (using the lap technique)
And sometimes the other players think that you are godlike because of that and try to add you as a friend... D:

I've been to 40+ on both of them.

Five Strategy

The strategy for Five is actually very easy. Get to round 5-6 in the first area of the map, then continue down and find the mystery box, you should have one zombie alive so the next round doesn't start. Try aiming for an LMG or ray gun or anything like that. Now head back up to the room with the DEFCON switches, activate all switches but one, which is DEFCON 5 I think (the one near the teleporter.)

Now start the next round and wait till a good amount of zombies have started chase, turn on the switch and enter the teleporter. Now your stuck inside the Pack A Punch room and every single zombie will create a giant ball outside the main door. No zombies will come from the windows until the door is open so you need not worry about them. Place claymores at the front of the door if you have them and get ready, after playing with this strategy a few times you should be able to time the opening of the door so time your frag grenades and watch as every single zombie gets destroyed. As soon as you see an opening, run out of the room!

Oh I forgot to tell you, you should have opened all the passages on the bottom floor of this little area. Now when you run out of the room start circling around the entire bottom floor until every zombie is behind you, don't run because at one point you'll hit halfway mark and the zombies will cut through the middle. When you feel you have every zombie behind you turn around and start shooting, just repeat this process until all the zombies are dead or leave one alive to go for the mysterbox again or what have you.

NOTE : If you are unable to exit the door once they are opened turn around and run for the teleporter, this is dangerous though because it ruins the strategy and you basically have a higher chance of being surrounded.

With this strategy I've gotten to 40+ solo. And less with more players because this strategy does not work for 3 or 4 players and is possible with 2 if you both have good communication and stay together (especially at the running in circles part.)

Kino Strategy

Kino strategy is simple to explain, get enough points to open all the right side doors up until the room with the mp40. Grab that and stay here until you have enough points to open all the rooms to get to the stage, and if you have enough points buy Juggernog. Now kill the remaining zombies until there is one left. And activate the teleporter. Kill the zombie. Wait for the next round to start and kill as many zombies you can until you feel over run, jump into the teleporter. Now spam grenades from up here at all the zombies that will collectively sit in front of the turret, keep spamming and buying grenades until you believe your about to be sent back down. (You can also pack a punch your weapon if needed) Now wait until the zombies start coming for you and shoot them but make sure no zombies are coming from the upstairs room, if they are, start heading up, try to dodge the zombies at the same time and if your not able to try shooting them or go from the left stairs but it's more dangerous since it takes more time. Run until you get behind the first trap. Turn around and spray some more. Until you see them start catching up or zombies are coming from behind you, now run run run to the very bottom of the stairs, were the MP40 is. This is your chance to either;

(a) activate the turret.
(b) buy more mp40 ammo.
(c) turn around and shoot them.

Of course you can do all 3 if your Mr. Rich Pants.

Again, watch your back and wait until they have gotten pretty close. Now start heading out back onto the stage, and shoot them from here until they get close again, always watching your back of course. Now! Hit the switch on the teleporter to activate it and run up the narrow path up to the desk right near the trap. Stay here and shoot again. Now once they have gotten close repeat the same course over and over only stopping to shoot at the places I recommend. BUT! Before you head you should finish the "connection" or whatever they call it. Now the teleporter is ready to use for the next round.

Some very important notes

- This strategy works best when the Mystery box is on the RIGHT side of the map, if it's in the alley or in the other two rooms it can still be done but you will have a harder time on the stage since they can come from two sides.
- Do NOT pick up the CRAFTSMEN or NUKE powerup on the later levels (20+), this causes irregular flow and the zombies will start pouring out of windows that are directly behind you, causing you to be surrounded.
- It is not necessary to waste money on anything other then Juggernog, Speedcola is essentially useless since your always able to safely walk and reload at the same time, but you can buy it if you want.
- Do NOT upgrade your mp40 until the later rounds (when you start noticing your mp40 is shooting pellets at the zombies ) since upgradeable ammo is 4500 (I believe) when it's upgraded and is a waste of money.

Anyways, yeah. Those are my strategies for those two maps and have worked great.

Love the sense of feeling godlike but hate the nonstop "Request to Add a Friend"! Another reason not to play with randys (random people)...unless of course you play on five and trap them on a floor all by themselves by blocking the elevator on another floor and ditching them..then it's ok

It's possible in five, but only in the war room, and the ambient is smaller, so it's harder to survive.
I wonder if "Ascencion" will be playable using this method...

Yeah the technique is really limited on Five because of the tight long hallways and all of the windows for the zombies to get through. I think Five is still best when camping and the best places are in the basement elevator (with the labs at the bottom and the teleporters) and on the middle floor in the actual pentagon area on the second floor "catwalks". The elevator part is tricky and very challenging since if one man goes down everyone is basically finished unless you can get out in the open and run around alone. The catwalks work best since if you camp in one of the corners furthest away from the stairs (or two of them) then you can switch off and get the zombies in a line saving ammo. However if one man goes down or someone who is alone on a side goes down then the zombies will trap you and there's no escape.

As for Ascension, I think it'll be another camping map but from what I saw (which was very little) it looks like it'll have somethin to do with an elevated platform lifting you up and killer monkeys...yes..killer monkeys.

Personally I think Five is waaaaay better than Kino. In Kino you need to be really good at map running/stage running to get very far, but in Five you can just camp in the PaP room.2011-01-30 20:29:00

I don't like camping in zombies, because they eventually come in large groups that you can't mow down in time. 2011-01-30 20:55:00

Well I guess it's debateable since it dependes on what you prefer. I personally just find camping too boring when I know I could be running around like crazy.

Yeah, what he said. Camping is as fun. Not to mention the Scientist ("Thief", but people call him the Scientist for some reason) doesn't die quickly, so camping is good with him around.

Anyhoo, I'm going to go ahead and play a match of Zombies just for the fun of it (the "Sally Likes Blood" is glitch for me, but hopefully I can get it). Anybody can join in if they want.

Actually, they're just doing this to get people to buy Black Ops for XBox360 than PS3. That and they're also doing it to tick us off.

Actually it's a little of both. Microsoft doesn't want us to riot on the streets, so they try to get us advantages or what have you over other consoles so we can feel that our 60 dollars a year is going somewhere.

Oh it's going somewhere alright...
