Daft Punk, Gorillaz and 28 Days Later: A Music Level

Archive: 14 posts

Have you ever felt that something is missing from your life, musically? That maybe if you found a great music level, your life would be changed somewhat? So have I, and this musical level seeks to fill that void.

This is basically me trying out the music sequencer, and I quite liked the result. In the House - In a Heartbeat could be better, but I'm pretty happy with it overall. The songs in it are:

Aerodynamic (without bells) - Daft Punk
Aerodynamic (with bells) - Daft Punk
On Melancholy Hill - Gorillaz
In the House - In a Heartbeat - 28 Days Later

I'll probably be publishing some less simple songs (Paul Gilbert, anyone?) in the future, so stay tuned if you liek, which you will. Finally, all the songs are available at the end of the level. In case you didn't get that, FREE PRIZES.

Enjoy.

I'm gonna queue this up and see how it goes I'm glad there's fellow muso's out there in LBP2! I'll give feedback once I have a runthrough, but if you can have a geeze at my Music Gallery level, or even check out The Mechman Saga, that'd be awesome!2011-01-25 23:01:00

I just queued it. I love Daft Punk, I was messing around with the music sequencer last night and made the guitar solo in Aerodynamic. It would be cool if you could try my level: http://lbp.me/v/wzdyfv2011-01-26 16:47:00

And so my music collection begins!
Queued.
You have your name and description attached to them right?
(so it's easy for people to credit/find you/etc)

I had a play of this today, to tell you the truth: all of the covers were quite faithful to their origins. Me being me, my favourite was the 28 days later theme - sounded pretty neat to me. Awesome job on this!2011-01-26 17:01:00

this was petty sick dude. I particularly enjoyed the daft punk song. I don't really have anything to say other than let me know if you ever put up originals. I'd love to hear them.2011-01-27 03:12:00

Thanks for the cool music!
I really liked Melancholy Hill, maybe I can use it in a level somewhere.
28 days later was an unexpected choice, which I like.
Can't think of any criticism, keep up the good work!

If you're up for F4F please check out one of my Deliver me from Eve-levels.

Nice work, all tracks were great.
The three tracks could fit a bunch of different levels. Very useful.
Thanks for sharing. Full credit if I ever use one.

Thanks guys. It's nice to have positive reactions to my levels, rather than what usually happens (massive brain hemorrhages followed by an extreme bout of explosive diarrhea).

I'll be making another soon then, possibly with originals if I can be bothered.

I had a look at them in create mode, you should rename "Sequencer" to "On Melancholy Hill - Gorillaz (by resistance1)" or something.
So people like me can build up their music library without having to add notes noting the creator/etc (for credit reasons).
