192 wires? There must be a better way

Hey there

I am having a problem with way too much wires for a level I`m creating.

The level contains of 64 platforms that need to be moved by 3 randomizers.

The randomizers are placed out of vision on a separate darkmatter-block. Each randomizer needs to be connected to all 64 platforms through an or switch. That way all 3 of them are able to move a platform.

But how do I connect all 3 randomizers with all 64 platforms? I tried to connect them to one and then copy the platform, but it wont copy the wires from the randomizers...

I would attach 64 tags to your AND gates with unique labels such as "plat01, plat02, plat03,...,plat63,plat64. Then on each platform you can place a 5000.0 max range tag sensor each with a unique label (plat01, plat02,...,plat63,plat64) and attach them to your platform movers. When the tags are activated by the AND gate, the sensor will move your platforms.

i do not quite understand what you need. do you want it so the 3 randomizes will pick one platform and move that platform, and have any randomize be able to move any 1 platform, basically having 3 platforms moving at a time?

and just to give you a comparison 192 wires is not that bad: I have had a single microchip have 96 outputs. (it is about 7-10 big grid units long) i don't even want to think about how many wires that is!

Thanks, that will shorten it a bit, but 64 still seems like a lot :/
Well not everything can be done with a handful of switches I guess ^^

EDIT: The three randomizers are triggered after a certain amount of time, at first only one is active and only one platform moves. Later all three randomizers start moving a platform therefore the OR switch.
