I never bought the metal gear solid pack for the original game. If i bought it in LBP2 will I still be able to play all the levels and collect all the prizes?

100% most definately yes. The paintenator is a bit redundant now we have the creatinator... but there's lots of stickers and objects etc in the pack aswell. And the Levels aren't too shabby either.

Seeing as quite a few copyable levels can't be edited (secret materials are news to me !) because you need this MGS pack which I too never bought in LBP1 can I buy it within LBP1( or store )now that I have started LBP2(importing my things from 1 at launch) and if so will it retrospectively appear in 2 or must I buy it in 2 (does it even matter) ... Is it essential !? ta

If you buy it it should appear in both regardless of which method is used to access the store.

Metal Gear Solid is most definitely a good buy! The stuff you get, costumes, levels.... I think the levels are more challenging than story mode in either LBP's. I use the stickers a lot, and some of my characters wouldn't be complete without the costume pieces! *It is in a separate section; the planet with buyable costumes/packs.

Can sackbots use the paintinator? (don't even know if jetpacks...) Anyway even with the creatinator, you need paintballs, aren't they only distributed by the paintinator? So if someone captured a paintball and gave it to you, the game would register, that its from the metal gear pack and denies placing it in create (if you didn't own the pack)?!? And homemade paintballs... would be difficult...

I believe sackbots can use the Paininator... I think I got a barrage of them attacking me in a fake versus level...
