Several questions for a level I hope to make

I'm trying to make a level with an emphasis on trying to keep a constant score bubble multiplier combo going, inspired by the Tower of Whoop bonus level. I have some questions about it before I dive right in, though.

First, I want to know if it would be possible to set up a HUD counter that follows you in one of the lower corners. The counter numbers would grow based on either the number of score bubbles you have in your current combo or the multiplier number you're on, if either of those are possible. (I've also heard that you can customize the score and time HUDs besides adding your own. Any truth to this?)

Second, I want to put in one of those vending machines that gives you an item if you reach a certain score, but I don't know if I have one or if they're even unlockable. If they are hidden, which level do I find them in?

Third, is there any way to have the dialog of a character placed towards the end of the level based on whether or not the player reaches the target score? I want to have a guy taunting Sackboy at the beginning (and at the end if the score is not reached), and grumbling if the player wins at the end.

Socre sensors for the vending machine. Simplist way I can think of for the hud (this may not work) is to place a score sensor and then a counter and set the sensor to like 100-200-300-400-500 or whatever and then if the answers yes (just like what would happen with the vending machine) put an input into an or leading onto the counter. So when a score is reached it would basically lead into the counter. Although this may be tedious if you want it for every number. And once again, a score checker for the dialog. "If player reached 1000 play magic mouth 1, If not play magic mouth 2"2011-01-24 20:32:00

Thanks for the advice so far. Some more questions:

-Is there a way to program an enemy's behavior to go back and forth within a set area? If I have to do a tutorial to unlock the command, which one is it?

-How do I get an NPC to have multiple text bubbles, one coming after another when you press O? Someone on another site told me to put the Magic Mouths on a music sequencer, but that would either cause the bubbles to switch if a button wasn't pressed by a certain point on the sequencer, or the camera angle to be momentarily lost if O was pressed too fast. Is there some other logic I can apply to make the mouths a sequence?
