shows how the logic works, and filled to the brim with notes explaining what logic does what.
Can be used for your own levels, or just to find out how it works.

Maybe i accidentally touched the min. radious settings.
jumping and pressing triangle always works though!

One question, is this the type of life bar that was in the beta? Or can it take multiple points of damage at once?

Its the same as in the beta,
I could make one for multidamage but most (starters) will allready have trouble with this.
Might update it with more advanced versions later.

i have a question
i opened the microchips of the HP bar and i noticed that the tag sensors are all greens (hp reset, hp decrease and hp increase) so i dont understand how the "whole system" distinguish what type of green tag knows when to increase hp, reset hp or decrease hp

The green tags will be labelled.
A green "hero hp" tag wont affect a green "boss hp" tag sensor for example.

Yes,
Me and clay only change color of the tags if the tag name is for instance:
"Bots_Monsters_big-eyed-freak"
And we got 2 bots walking around with the same tag,
one would get the standard green color, while the other will probably have a red color.
this way its easy to add and edit tags for certain groups!

I think the tutorial is pretty cool. You help a lot of people like me who are having trouble understanding how all this logic stuff works. Maybe I'm just slow or something. But how do you get an enemy sackbot to cause damage to the health meter? Do I have to input projectile sensors somehow? If so, how do I do this? I did play that level once and liked it, but it was long ago. Perhaps he deleted it. If you need something to make health meters, I made the Health Meter Toolkit (link in signature) if you want. It allows to add and subtract any amount of health from 1 to 100, and actually even more than 100.2012-04-20 12:50:00

Well, I guess on the version currently online, there are two chips because it was too big. Basically, all chips needed to make the health meter system are inside category chips which are inside those two chips you got.

I'll probably release the v6 over the next month, which will be splitted in many more chips since the tutorials and the probes take too much memory. It will add a more precise system and will fix definately the health value sensor which is a bit laggy for now, if I remember what version is online. I wish I could release it sooner, but I have too much school work ^^

If you'd like I could add to your level. Or show everyone a very easy method on making life. With subtraction and addition, to any customizable tags, with any strength to them. Even show a demonstration of status effects such as poisoning or fire damage. I've made a 1-100 life meter before, yes numbered life logic. Same thing. Reaaallly easy stuff.
