If you choose to import all objects from a LBP1 profile, does that include all costumes, stickers and materials?

Yes it does, but it doen't bring the levels from your moon unless you input the whole profile. Note that some people have problems with imported profiles (myself included), so if you've made any progress in lbp2, I suggest backing up your lbp2 profile before trying to import your lbp1 profile. In fact, the game is new and still kinda' buggy, so you should really be backing up your profile every time you do anything significant.

I would import just the objects if I'm honest, it frees up space on your LBP2 moon. But if you really want one of your LBP1 levels on there, you could just copy it to your LBP2 moon (I assume, I haven't actually tried it).
