Pod Glitch :( :(

Archive: 10 posts

While playing around with the pod glitch i messed up. REALLY BAD and now i cant spawn into the pod anymore.and i JUST finished the story

I have a feeling that i should delete my profile and start ALL over again unless there is a way to change or restore the pod w/o using the popit menu. serves me right for abusing this glitch im so stupid

if i do delete my profile does it delete all my trophies and/or pins that i earned?

I did the same thing .... I reset my profile today and did lose my pins. You will be able to keep the trophies. If you want you can do what my friend did for me and send me all of you objects you created and make a level full of sackbots with all of your costumes on them! Feel free to add me!2011-01-24 06:38:00

For future reference, and for anybody else who's thinking of using this or other glitches, you really want to back up your profile first. As much as I like exploitable glitches, they're always risky. I don't think there's any way out of your predicament other than to delete your profile and start from scratch. Personally, I would try rebooting the game a few times just to be sure it's not going to sort itself out... but I wouldn't be too optimistic. Good luck.

[edit] Just a heads up. If you know how the pod was captured, or brought over from the beta, DO NOT talk about it on this site, and please email Mm at community@mediamolecule.com with the details. Spaff said he'd bribe people with bug blasters if they report it

I JUST reread your question.....We can go to my moon to send them or I could capture them but when I would give it back it won't have you listed as the creator.

EDIT: Why didn't I just edit my previous post.... Oh well!

@Vaggio:
Why couldn't he just publish them on a locked level....?
Published levels are sored on the server, so they stay there even if profile's deleted, and you can recover them later if you want, as long as yer using the samePSN, ven if you're at another PS3.
Your method has the risk of ther other person taking and using the itms and costumes from the one transfering tham also, not to mention some stuff may be uneditable afterwards.

When you can't get into your pod, you can't get to your moon, and if you can't do that then how are you supposed to publish the levels?!? Also if he sends me his items via LBP Gift Message his name will be on it and he can also set it to non-sharable. And I'm not the kind of person to steal someones work and put it in my own levels.
