I was playing this great little game decided to restart a level and it loaded for ages so I quit the game and BAM my drive is broke and wont work at all. Anyone fancy buying me a new PS3?

No...but I would fancy a mod moving this thread to its appropriate section As much as this sucks, it happens, and it could have been any game or any time. So I wouldn't put so much of the blame on LBP2

Do you have the infmaous "Yellow Light of death" ? If so, then I wouldn't blame the great little game. I know it sucks, it happens to all of us someday and we know how you feel. All I can give you are interwebz cookies and luck.

Whenever a popular new game comes out there's a flurry of people claiming "_ broke my PS3". Especially with games that sink a lot of time and have players leaving their consoles on for way too long. It's likely that your PS3 broke and that's the reason the game wouldn't load. Is it just the disk drive that's broken or can you not turn it on at all?

I wouldn't be surprised if this game broke your PS3. I sometimes spend 3-5 hours in create mode before realizing that I need to let my PS3 rest!

I forgot the alst thing I did but after shutting PS3 off (didnt have it on too long, didnt get a yellow light either, and not blamin LBP2 exactly), I turned PS3 on and it showed PS3 sign and sound but after that, didnt go to SMB menu but stayed like that and after tryin lot of thigns, I couldn't get it to work so i cant get on meh PS3 either

This thread just scared me. I was loading a community level and looking at my laptop, just about to click onto this thread, when my PS3 froze up. I pressed the restart button, but it didn't switch off, so I had to cut the power. Luckily though, it's ok. But yeah, this thread should be moved. :/

I Have the same problem and I did use pod glitch until I heard its DANGEROUS I deleted my all pods in pod section and 1 day later my ps3 started lagging/crashing so I scared a bit. Then this morning I woke up and turned my ps3 on LBP 2 inside and it tooks long to load and NOTHING?? can anyone help us/me?
