!!HELP!! Region DLC

| Hello all, Im in the US for only a short time longer and need to ask a very important question. I've been searching and searching about DLC and region availability with games but sometimes they say certain games work. Question: If I get LittleBigPlanet 2 Collectors edition IN AMERICA, will the DLC's and other stuff i download IN AUSTRALIA work together because of the region change? Please give a swift reply, i'm only here for a wee bit longer. Note: This decision will save me $70. | As far as I know, PS3's along with it's games arent region locked. Meaning you could have a US PS3 and play Japaneese games (and vice versa). I believe it's the same with the DLC. But if your'e unsure, why not make a new american account and buy it with that one? As long as you don't delete it from your ps3, you'll be able to play all the DLC on any account on your PS3. | 2011-01-24 02:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
| Not sure if it's too late now, but I'm having problems with mine :-( The game itself loads fine but the add-ons seem to be region locked. My guess is the games are setup in a similar way to the PSP using game codes such as ULUS & ULES. There is s definate visibility of a difference even before running the game, when starting the game form the XMB, they have two different titles "LittleBigPlanet 2" and "LittleBigPlanet 2 (UK)". I am also unable to transfer my LBP1 collectibles from the UK version to the US version and when try to do this through the Settings menu, it says no LBP1 data found. Interestingly though, my Earth & Moon both load in the US & UK versions, but my Pod does not. Aha, just found this on the boxes..
