I'm About to Kill a Sackbot

Hi, I'm tying to make a Film level called "The Prankster" and the sackbot I'm currently working isn't working the way I want it to. When I un-pause he plays his role, until it gets to the jumps he has to perform. He either:
a.) Doesn't jump high enough and messes up the recording or
b.) Is off by a millisecond and falls off the stairwell and messes up the recording
If anyone knows how to resolve this problem, please let me know. I've gotten very frustrated and was this close () to throwing my LBP2 disk out. (As much as I love it)

Perhaps you could improvise and do such things as, skipping the whole stairwell scene by showing the sackbot at the bottom, destroy him with the destroying switch thingy (should be fun for you) and then let the camera quickly zoom to the top, where another sackbot is emitted?

why not put an anti gravity on him and lower the gravity a bit to make the sackbot jump a little higher?2011-01-24 02:12:00

Sometimes, rather than use the record feature, I'll use a sequencer to directly manipulate a controllinator on the bot's circuit board. You can create precisely timed signals to each button/thumstick and you can even tweak the batteries' strengths to give varying analog outputs. Dunno' if that'll help in your case, though.2011-01-24 02:43:00

DONT KILL THE SACKBOT, what did it ever do to you? D:

Trying moving it around and making sure the recording is synced for EXACTLY where your sackbot starts from. Height off the ground counts. Make sure your sackbot it on the ground when you make your recording.

You can also try A.I, which uses Tags and Tag Sensors. It takes more time to set up but if done right is more accurate than a Recording.
