Sackboy/girl Augementation

I recently went on a community level on littlebigplanet 2 and came across a level where the controls for the sackboy had changed instead of R1 to grab it was for shotting rockets out of his head. and when pressing square you can fly around and hover also when moving your arms plasma shot out, all this and i was still my sackboy. i just wondered if anyone could help me and show me how to do this on create mode as i have some ideas to make some mind blowing levels2011-01-24 00:45:00

That is all essentially complicated for any beginner creator. But what the level primarily is, is that when you start the level, you are automatically taken to a controlinator, where then you are controlling a sackbot set to look like yourself, the sackbot has things like emitters, movers, and other gizmos all set on its microchip, all of which the controlinator is hooked up to. You'd best go through some create tutorials first, just to get the basics of these things. (Also, getting a contrlinator to control a sackbot directly is very difficult, I don't think any tutorials in LBP can help you with that.) Maybe someone else could help you further?

Controlling a Sackbot via a Controllinator is difficult? News to me... Now, what is difficult is setting up emitters to simulate a checkpoint for Sackbots.... It's been bugging me for days...2011-01-24 01:24:00

Controlling a Sackbot via a Controllinator is difficult?
Well, in the beta, it required setting up a controlinator set to input mode on a microchip, and the true controlinator set to output mode with the same color of the input controlinator, this is something that may be difficult for any beginner creator. I had struggled with this myself as there were little tutorials that helped me in the right direction, but I got through.

I don't know how it fairs in the retail version of LBP2, is it simple as hooking up the switch onto the sackbot itself?

Nope, it's basically the same set up. You place a tag and recieving controllinator on a Sackbot's circuit board, then have a piece of hologram with a transmitting controllinator follow the tag on the sackbot's circuit board. So yea, it's the same set up I never had any problems with it though, so I hadn't realize other people had. I usually need someone else to tell me what to do 2011-01-24 01:46:00
