For those of you looking for a way to make the Hologram material solid, don't try to make a material inside it. Just look for the Neon material. Its the exact same thing as Hologram, only it cant pass through other objects. I hope this helped those of you who had trouble with that.

Is it really invisible at 0 brightness though? Or does it look like this strange film covering whatever Neon is covering?

Where do I get it? Is it from the tutorials? I was looking for it today and couldn't find it. Oh, and can it be triggered to light up with a switch?

Don't have LBP2 yet, but going by what was in the beta... Neon can have 2 colours like holographic material, which can be switched between a switch. The differences are that: A.) Neon is solid. B.) Neon does NOT go invisible, it turns black. C. Darkening the neon changes its TONE of colour to be darker, not the actual visibility. D.) Neon has a small bit of glare amongst the edges. Basically, they both are REALLY useful for making levels, as far as I've used them, and they both do different jobs.

Sweet! I got neon today and haven't tried it out yet, I had been messing with Holo trying to put things in it, definitely not very effective. I love these new materials though, they are so useful and versatile!

Sorry for my misguidance but luckily KlawwwTheClown was able to correct me. I found it in my Goodies Bag after I got done seeing a thread about solid Holograms and thought "OMG! I have to tell the n00bs, I mean those that don't know!"

For anyone wondering where it is, it is NOT in the basic materials. it is in the metals section. The neon simbol and light matter (It is dark matter, just lighter) simbol look alike. it can get very confusing. I uploaded my profile, and it is a huge list. Both are very useful, for a lot of difrent. it has the same tweaks as any other lights.
